MIGRAVALUE, a project part-financed by the EU through the INTERREG IIIB CADSES Program, aims at launching a model for the active management of migration as a key tool for the integrated economic and social development of host and origin regions. It involves partners from EU as well as EU Neighbor countries, representing a broad network of public and private stakeholders, with relevant competences and complementary interests: local development, financial resources and guarantee funds, labor migration, home-origin country partnerships, welfare networks.

MIGRAVALUE intends to fostering the co-relationship between the financial capital of migrants, and the economic and social development of regions placed along the same migration routes. Its approach is to operate through public-private territorial partnerships to define a sustainable model for the trans-national guarantee of a Credit Fund that should make financing available for actions of social and economic development, including at the initiative of migrants in their countries of origin.
