The project Migravalue has almost come to an end ...

On June 26th, the final conference of the MIGRAVALUE project will take place in the Sala del Cenacolo in the Italian Chamber of Deputies in Rome. The conference will highlight the results of two intertwined componentsthat MIGRAVALUE has been given attention to: the social dimension of migration, focusing on joint analyses and development of transnational welfare priorities and recommendations for policy planning; and the economic dimension, by focusing on strategies and tools for the channeling of remittances (among other instruments) for the development of origin areas and international cooperation between destination and origin countries.

The Emilia-Romagna Region organizes a regional seminar on Migravalue social component interim results. The event will be held in the framework of COM-PA, the European Exibition of Public Communication and Services to the Citizen and Business, in Bologna on 6th November 2007 from 12.00 to 14.00 pm. The seminar is entitled: “Rimesse, investimenti e dinamiche di sviluppo locale: l’emigrazione albanese e le prospettive di intervento per la cooperazione internazionale in Emilia-Romagna ” (Remittances, investments and local development: Albanian emigration and international cooperation perspectives in Emilia-Romagna).

There are some modification about Cadses in the new Structural Funds Period (2007-2013). The principal are: -Division of CADSES into Central Europe and South East European Space -Programming process in CENTRAL & SEES -New future priority areas and main features -New Key actors involved in the programming process
